I bet you never expected to have someone in your "circle" become a widowed parent. Maybe it's your friend. Or your neighbor. Or a colleague, or a member of your extended family. In any case, someone close to you is now widowed, and now raising kids as an "only parent."

When my husband was diagnosed with brain cancer, and died eight months later, we were fortunate enough to have fantastic allies rally around us. I so appreciate them. And, I learned alot about what is truly helpful.

Now that I have a podcast for widowed parents, I hear from alot of other people about what helped them, too. And I created these tips to help you be a good ally to the widowed parent in your life.

Thank you for supporting the widowed parents in your life.
